What Happens If Fraud Occurs After Payment?

When a Cardholder Reports Fraud:

  1. The payment partner immediately freezes the card

  2. A new card is issued (excluding the current balance)

  3. Delivery occurs within 3-5 business days

  4. Provider conducts a fraud investigation

  5. Findings are released after 14 business days

  6. If fraud is confirmed: stolen funds are restored to the new card

  7. If fraud is not confirmed: no reimbursement is provided

When Payment Partners Detect Suspicious Activity:

  1. The cardholder is contacted to verify suspicious charges

  2. If charges are denied, the card is frozen

  3. A new card is issued (excluding the current balance)

  4. Delivery occurs within 3-5 business days

  5. A thorough investigation follows

  6. Findings are released after 14 business days

  7. Confirmed fraud cases result in fund restoration

  8. Unconfirmed cases receive no reimbursement
